This original illustration was created for a magazine article. I used Pelikan inks and Shiva Casein paint on illustration board. I let my pencil drawing show through my inks to create a loose and transparent look to the pilots. Inks were a joy to work with on some projects, but you can't buy Pelikan brand inks anymore.
