This is an original illustration for Harlequin books. I used oil paint on illustration board. A drawing is fixed first and then a layer of matte medium is then applied to the surface, sealing in my pencil drawing. Now I can start the painting knowing that if I don't like something I can simply rub the paint off and my drawing shows through under it.
