Harlequin Romance Treasury book inside line art illustration.
I draw directly onto the cold press illustration board. If the drawing does not work out, that is, I'm not happy with the way it's going. I simply get another piece of board and start all over again. The type that appears on the illustration is the title of the story and the book it appears in. The publisher puts this on top of my artwork before they send it to the printers. There would be 3 stories in these particular books. I would have done an illustration like this one for each of the stories and I would also do the cover illustration which was in full colour.
